Drupal maintenance and support services.
Security updates, patches, backups, and emergency repairs — ongoing Drupal maintenance from $60 per month, or one-off help when something has stopped working.
A Drupal site you don't have to think about.
Drupal is solid, but not maintenance-free: core and modules receive security patches, and a site without them gradually becomes a publicly documented target. I take that job off your hands on a steady monthly cycle.
- Drupal updates: core, modules, and theme
- Security patches applied after Drupal Security Team advisories are published
- Automated backups with fast restore
- Uptime monitoring and a response when the site stops answering
Four things I do on a regular basis.
Drupal updates
A monthly review of available core and module releases. On the higher plans, every update is checked on a copy of the site first and only then goes to production.
Drupal security patches
Security updates take priority over everything else. This also covers a review of accounts and permissions, configuration, and modules that have lost support and need a replacement.
Backups
Automated database and file backups, stored away from the site's server. A backup nobody has tried to restore means little — so restores are tested periodically.
Small tasks and support
A form fix, a new content type, a menu change. On plans with a pool of hours, requests like these are part of the subscription, with no separate quote each time.
Three plans, one fixed monthly fee.
Standard Most popular
from $130per month
- Everything in Basic
- Updates tested on a copy of the site
- 1–2 hours of small tasks per month
- Same-business-day response
Extended
from $260per month
- Everything in Standard
- A larger pool of development hours
- Priority handling
- Monthly report
Indicative prices — they depend on the size of the site, the number of modules, and the state the site is in when I take it over. What goes into that figure is covered in how much Drupal maintenance costs.
Something broke? Let's start with a diagnosis.
A white screen after an update, a database error, content replaced after a hack, or a site nobody has updated in years. Repairs don't require a subscription — it's a one-off job billed hourly, and you get a quote after the initial diagnosis, before any work starts.
- Getting the site back up after an outage or a failed update
- Cleaning up after a hack and closing the hole that allowed it
- Catching up on overdue core and module updates
- Taking over a site from a previous developer
From a review to a steady rhythm.

Frequently asked questions.
How much does Drupal maintenance cost? Ongoing maintenance starts at $60 per month for security updates, backups, and monitoring. Plans that add staging tests and a pool of hours for small tasks start at $130 and $260 per month.
Will you take over a Drupal site someone else built? Yes. I start with a review of the site: core and module versions, overdue updates, backups, and access. Only then do I propose a maintenance scope.
My Drupal site is down — do I need a monthly plan to get it fixed? No. Fixing an outage, cleaning up after a hack, or catching up on overdue updates is also available as a one-off job, billed hourly after an initial diagnosis and quote.
I have an old Drupal version — update or migration? Drupal 8, 9, 10, and 11 can be upgraded to a newer version within the same line. Drupal 7 needs a migration, meaning the site is rebuilt and the content moved over — that is a separate service, described on the Drupal migration page.
